The first VetAid concert is now in the books, and we could not of asked for a better day. It took a small army of volunteers
to pull it off. The first thank you has to go out to Marty Mankin who organized the event. Everything from finding a great
location at Sammy Whites farm, fondly known as "Bairdstock" to lining up some great entertainment and finding the
sponsors needed to make it happen. Awesome job brother.
To all the bands who lent us their time and incredible talent to make this a first to remember, you guys rock.
WKFM 96.1 stepped up and did a great job helping us to promote our event, and Maggie and Brittany stopped out with
their remote. Thanks to everyone at 96.1
Bill Rawlings from the Cleveland Vet Center and Bill DeMauri from Erie PA. came by with his mobile Vet Center to let the
vets know that help is there for them. Check them out at www.vetcenter.va.gov
From selling tickets, running sound and lights, selling food and security, so many volunteers who gave up their day to
help our veterans, Thank You!
