To whom it concerns,

VetAid National is a 501(c)(3) organization that it set up and designed to assist our veteran families all over the
United States.   We also support our active duty military as first responders to disasters that strike tragically all over
the world.

Currently first responders to the earthquake disaster in Haiti providing relief and rebuilding efforts are; the US Army
82nd Airborne, the US Marine Corps and the US Navy.  In addition to sending supplies and sailors, the US Navy has
also sent the USNS Comfort in order to provide medical assistance and treatment for those injured during the
earthquake.  In the last several years, the US military has supported other disaster relief efforts including the 2009
Tsunami in Samoa, Hurricane Katrina, California wildfires and mudslides, hurricanes and earthquakes.

While our military are ‘typically’ called to duty to defend their country, providing aid and comfort in the wake of a
catastrophic disaster as first responders also calls on our military men and women away from home and their
families.  The absence of a spouse dramatically changes the family core.  It seems as though it is during these
times when catastrophe or hard times hit those that are left behind to take care of things at home; the washer
breaks down, the car won’t start, a child becomes ill and mom (or dad) needs to stay home creating a bigger gap in
finances.  None of these things are brought on by the actions of anyone, however it still impacts the ability to take
proper care of household events, and /or provide peace of mind to the military member that is deployed.

At VetAid National, we hope to provide comfort in the form of relief when these occasions rise.  Whether it is
providing a new part or replacing a washer, getting the tire or oil changed or finding a motor because the previous
one blew a gasket; whatever it takes, large or small, we want to be able to assist the family.  By being able to assist
their families, we have then provided comfort to our deployed personnel.

Often times, the military member doesn’t end his service once he/she takes off the uniform.  There are many
organizations that are run by veterans, their families and those who love our military.  Our mission includes
providing assistance to our veterans during their time of need.  Unfortunately with today’s economy, many of these
individuals, through no fault of their own, find themselves unemployed, unable to provide for their families and no
where to turn.  We would like to be the place where these families can turn.  In order to so efficiently, we need the
support of the community.

Please consider donating to VetAid National in supporting our military veterans and their families.  All funds
donated go directly to assisting our veterans.
