Honored guests at this years rally....
Lora Hall was there to speak of her brother Lance Cpl.
David R. Hall, 31, of Elyria, Ohio, who gave his life on
8/31/09 while supporting combat operations in Helmand
province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion,
8th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine
Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
Robert Gilbert also honored his son, Gunnery Sgt.
Robert Gilbert II , 28, of Richfield, Ohio; assigned to 2nd
Marine Special Operations Battalion, Marine Special
Operations Regiment, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special
Operations Command, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; who lost his
life on March 16 of wounds sustained March 8 while
supporting combat operations in Badghis province,
Afghanistan. Gy. Sgt. Gilbert was on his fifth tour of duty in
the Middle East when his platoon was ambushed.

The 8th annual "Rally for the Troops" organized by John "Kiks" Kikol was held April 25th, and despite
threatening weather was attended by several thousand supporters from around the Cleveland area.
Jim Mantel of WGAR, was Master of Ceremonies, and Monica Robins of WKYC sang the National Anthem.
Rich Bartley, Chaplain of Great Lakes Blue Knights Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club gave the Invocation.
Vetaid National would like to send a special Thank You to Cleveland Harley Davidson for giving us the
opportunity to raise several hundred dollars at the after party to be used to help veterans who need a hand!
